TURKMEN STATE INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT

Entrance examinations and enrollment are carried out at the institute (Ashgabat) and in velayat centers in the following terms:

- Balkan velayat - July 27, July 28 and July 29;

- Dashoguz velayat - July 31, August 1 and August 2;

- Ashgabat - August 4-5, August 6 and August 7;

- Akhal velayat - August 9-10, August 11 and August 12;

- Mary velayat - August 14-15, August 16 and August 17;

- Lebap velayat - August 19-20, August 21 and August 22.

Entrance examinations are held in the following academic subjects:

- specialties: sports; physical education is a chosen sport (applicants must fulfill the approved standards for one of the 46 sports cultivated at the institute) - biology, history of Turkmenistan;

- specialty: sports journalism - Turkmen language and literature, history of Turkmenistan, social science;

- specialties: management of sports facilities; technical support of sports technologies - mathematics, history of Turkmenistan, social science;

- specialties: health care; psychology (sports psychology) - Turkmen language and literature, biology, history of Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held on the basis of curricula for secondary schools in Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held orally in the state language.

Persons who did not appear without good reason for the exam at the scheduled time or who did not pass the exam in one of the academic subjects are not allowed to the subsequent exams.

Out of competition and the priority right when enrolling in the number of students, subject to successful passing of the entrance exams, are the applicants:

- highly qualified athletes who graduated from a secondary sports school;

- winners of international competitions in 2018-2022;

- members of the national teams of Turkmenistan in 2018-2022;

in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Education" (new edition).
